Put on your walking shoes... Only a 5 minute walk to Sydney Harbour, 10 minute walk to train stations with direct lines to Sydney airport and Bondi junction, and only a short walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House & the best bars and restaurants in the city. 

Getting here

Our closest train stations are St James Station (direct airport line) and Kings Cross Station however we do find Uber to be easier and just as economical in most instances when traveling with a group to and from the airport and around the inner city area.

Domain Car Park is less than a 10 min walk from house. Check their website for details.

Street Parking Details:
Weekends and after 4 pm Friday to Monday are not metered
Week days 9am - 4pm there is 1 - 2 hour on street parking limit – not metered before/after these times

ABOUT WOOLLOOMOOLOO

The ’Loo is one of Australia’s most recognised place names, with mentions in F Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Nightas well as Monty Python's famous Bruces sketch. Perhaps because the catchy name, derived from Aboriginal language, couldn’t be more Australian. We cant help but think its rich and colourful history has something to do with it.  

Once home to razor gangs and prohibition bars, Woolloomooloo is now likened to the Meatpacking District of New York City. Working its way through the process of gentrification, it is home to an eclectic mix of people with Sydney's rich and famous living along side artists, bohemian types and working class. The area is spotted with art galleries, iconic Sydney pubs, and sits amongst the city's best bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping, all within walking distance. In and around our vibrant and diverse community you’ll also find independent theatres, small music halls, farmer's markets and many other gems that are off the tourist path.

It should be noted that the area is true inner-city living and the convenience of the location is also appreciated by the homeless who frequent the nearby public areas due to a number of community run services in the neighbourhood. The accommodation is also situated on a train line so trains can be heard when passing.
