Knocklofty bushwalking track, Walk up to the top of Knocklofty for some beautiful views of Hobart - 90-minute round trip, easy trails but some big hills.
The Growers Market, Every Sunday part of Bathurst St.shuts down and the local growers and artisan food makers come town. 8.30-1pm.

New Norfolk, Day trip out to New Norfolk (45 min drive) for a walk along the river and forage a through its local antique and vintage shops. A beautiful bookstore and stationary store are also a highlight. Dine at the Agrarian Kitchen - they have a takeaway option for those who miss out on a booking (book in advance). We recommend a stop at Derwent Estate Wines and Stefano Lubiana’s Cellar Door. Both wineries also have outstanding restaurants (advance bookings recommended).
Richmond, Day trip to the historic town of Richmond a visit the old Goal and stunning Georgian homes. Czegs do a great scone and tea or head to Domaine A for something a little more refined/stiffer.
Mona, Art and Culture in spades. Not to be missed - catch the Mona Roma ferry from Brooke St. Pier or drive. The art gallery is a beautiful space for a rainy day and the live music and festivities on the lawn are great when the sun is shining.
Huon Valley, A beautiful drive reminiscent of English countryside. Willy Smith’s Apple Shed is a fun pitstop with a strong cider and food offering or dine at Lost Captain. Explore Hastings Caves or walk amongst the treetops at the Tahune Airwalk.
